Khayman` here.. and yes, I was the one who created this site. And if it isn't beautiful enough for you, well, don't expect me to argue. I don't have any desire to change your mind.. because I don't give a damn!

Anyway, let me tell you my story. My real name is Mark Anthony L. Fernandez, and I hail from Iloilo City, Philippines. I came from a very simple family. My father is only a painter, my mother is a teacher, and I have three younger sisters. It's just a poor family.. and our only treasure is each other. But in spite of that, we still find our family a very attractive one.

On summer evenings, father would play his guitar, and mother would sing her favorite song.. out of tune most of the time.. and then father would chuckle, and we would all burst into laughter. My sisters would then ask me to go stargazing or firefly hunting with them in our backyard. So simple, yet so special. Ah.. those were the wonderful times. How I long for those moments.

But things aren't the same now. You see, they were expecting too much of me, and illfatedly, I wasn't able to live up to it. I'm only human y'know. I have lots of limitations. But no matter how hard I tried to justify myself, I still know that I failed them. And it saddens me a lot. Another thing that depresses me is the fact that I'm too far away from them now. I long to go back home and say 'sorry', but I can't.. I just don't have the courage to do it. I now live here in Iloilo desperately alone, confused, and longing to be loved. Poor me. *sob*

Ah, enough with that. Let's have something better.

I always have been passionate with books. I like mystery novels, horror, and fictions. I already had a long list of authors I liked, but I still kept on lookin' for better ones, until I discovered Anne Rice. I liked her style. She is a very sensual writer and I admit.. I got obsessed with her "Vampire Chronicles". I would have to say that "Interview With The Vampire" was my favourite book, and was absolutely delighted to learn that there was a film being made of that very book. When I watched the film I was absolutely mesmerised - and at the end, I just wanted to run back in and watch it again and again.

Khayman was my favourite character from the "Vampire Chronicles". You can find him in "The Queen of the Damned". One of the first brood, he has the ability to destroy any mortal or fledgling, by the power of thought alone. He's a powerful vampire with no companions.

I'm fascinated by Khayman. He is everything which attracts me to vampires. Well, maybe because we are both desperately lonely, confused, and has a longing to be loved, but constantly gets spurned by those we approach.
